The Magpul ASAP: More range of motion than any sling latch plate.
Who says the sling-attachment latch plate has to use a regular ole' QD cup? That's wrong. Magpul decided to build a latch plate that provides more than 180 degrees of free sling motion and they did it with a badass-lookin' steel chainlink setup to boot.
A welded steel link. It doesn't get any simpler.
Why bother with CNC'd parts and complicated designs? The Ambidextruous Sling Attachment Point is simply a tough little piece of welded steel that provides a solid attachment point for any Magpul Paraclip or other HK-style sling clips. Use it with any single-point sling or convert a two-point sling into a single-point setup. Compatible with all mil-spec buffer tubes and mil-spec AR receivers.
