If you're using a "mil-spec" latch plate, you're wrong.
Seriously, guy. Nobody uses the factory latch plate. Why? Because that's the perfect place to attach any QD-studded sling. It provides the perfect center of gravity when your rifle's hanging out, allowing for a quick transition to the high-ready with sights downrange. If you're rocking a single-point sling, you need a latch plate attachment point. It just works.
Compatible with QDM and all other QD Swivel Studs
The ASAP QD Ambi Sling Attachment Point uses a universally sized socket that accepts any of Magpul's QD, QDM, and other manufacturers' quick-detach sling studs. This latch plate's made from case-hardened steel and it's finished with matte black Melonite. In short, it's overbuilt. It's made for all mil-spec buffer tubes and receivers, guaranteeing a solid fit on most ARs.
Not compatible with fixed / A2-type buttstocks.
