Magpul's original sling. What more do you need?
Magpul's MS1 Sling went through a literal gauntlet before making it to market: Tens of thousands of rounds downrange in mud, rain, snow, ice, desert heat, sand, static load testing, para jumps. You name it. You don't need a sling tougher than the MS1 because you won't find one.
Why the MS1 Sling is so good.
It's not the strength of the thing. Any idiot can take a piece of nylon webbing and call it tough after sending it through the ringer. The MS1 is a great sling because it functions perfectly. A high-quality adjustment clip can be used one-handed, and it doesn't spit out a bunch of extra strap that flaps in the wind.
Pair with your Magpul hardware of choice.
The MS1 ships separately from any mounting hardware, allowing you to configure your new sling with the mounts you prefer: Magpul's own QDM and HK-style snap hooks provide a reliable connection, but the 1.25"-wide strap is compatible with virtually every type of sling mount you'll find on the market.
