Your best companion for that big Whitetail downrange.

The Sightmark Core VHR Venison is tailor-made for the deer hunter, providing a wide range of magnification (3x to 9x) and a generous field of view at any magnification. The Core VHR Venison also comes with zero stops, allowing you to make adjustments and return to zero after shot. This guarantees you'll enjoy reliable elevation, distance, and windage adjustments to ensure every shot you take will bring some meat home.

The Venison Reticle explained

The VHR Venison's reticle is specially designed to gauge the distance of adult whitetail deer based on average shoulder height, using 9x power (full magnification): Match the deer's height from ground to shoulder using the reticle's top verticle post. Whichever tick mark the shoulder reaches indicates distance. All four tick marks filled approximates a 100-yard distance. Three marks represents 200 yards. Two marks represents 400 yards. One mark represents 500 yards.

This reticle and its zero stop functionality provide the whitetail hunter with one of the most reliable species-specific targeting systems ever built into a variable hunting optic.

Oh yeah, want to hunt Coyote? The VHR whitetail reticle can even account for ranging your North American predator using its horizontal posts.

Built to go the distance

It's not just the VHR Venison's reticle that makes this scope the perfect whitetail seeker. Its aircraft-grade aluminum housing sports a hardcoat anodized finish with shockproof, fogproof, and waterproof ratings protecting the multi-coated lenses. It'll handle extreme heat, cold, and underwater submersion, and the turrets are capped and sealed for extra protection.
